Our Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board supervises the policy pursued by the Director, the performance of its managerial duties and Netherlands Food Partnership’s general course of affairs, taking account of the interests of all the foundation’s stakeholders.

Its main two roles are: To monitor progress and pro-actively identify potential obstacles and opportunities for Netherlands Food Partnership engagement. And advise on the strategy and long-term development of Netherlands Food Partnership, including the positioning of Netherlands Food Partnership both in The Netherlands as well as all relevant global stakeholders.

The functioning of and decision-making within the Supervisory Board are governed by the Statutes of the Foundation. In line with these, the Supervisory Board has established from among its members a Financial Audit Committee. The task of this committee is to prepare the decision-making of the Supervisory Board as described in the regulations of this committee.
