Your role:
Coordination YEP-AgroFood - 50%
NFP supports YEP-AgroFood - part of Young Expert Programmes delivered in partnership with NWP and RVO. Yep-AgroFood offers young Dutch professionals the opportunity to gain experience abroad and young professionals from LMICs the opportunity to gain experience with working in an international environment. Within the YEP Programme bureau team your tasks will be:
- Coordinating the implementation, monitoring and reporting of the YEP-Agrofood programme
- Accountmanagement for (potential) participating Agrofood organisations and companies
- Organising application assessment for YEP Agrofood positions and candidate selection
- Contributing - where relevant - to YEP activities, training and (online) meetups.
Community engagement - 50%
NFP organises joint learning through so-called ‘Community Engagement’ activities. NFP’s ‘knowledge brokers’ help to build networks and facilitate exchange. This catalyses a deeper understanding of drivers for food and nutrition security and common understanding of leverage points for action. Stakeholders include practitioners, researchers, policymakers, SMEs, investors,, students and others working in the Global South and North. Within the NFP Community Engagement team your tasks will include:
- Co-developing knowledge, policy and capacity building initiatives on food systems
- Mapping issues and facilitating knowledge exchange, experimentation, and use
- Facilitating the interactive co-creation and delivery of knowledge products
- Backstopping NFP supported initiatives, documenting learning and communication of results
What we look for:
Education / Experience
- Minimum of MSc, BA and > 4 years relevant working experience
- Educational background in agribusiness, (development) studies / economics or related fields
- Experience in food and nutrition / agribusiness development with a passion for SDG2
- Experience working with public, private, profit, CSO and knowledge partners
Skills
- Excellent networking and analytical skills
- Able to apply knowledge management tools and organise learning trajectories and studies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to facilitate dialogue and debate
- Working language proficiency in Dutch and English
Mindset
- Comfortable to represent NFP at all levels (from shop floor to management and external fora)
- Inspiring by identifying forward looking topics that fit with NFP’s purpose
- Open minded and sensitive to organisational needs, culture and interest of partners
- Able to persuade partners to share knowledge and engage with others to innovate and learn

What we offer:
- A full-time (36 hours) contract for one year with the possibility of extension.
- Market-based salary - CAO Social Work - scale 10: 3,515 - 5,272 euro gross monthly
