Resilient ecosystems

Below coalitions have a focus on the food systems challenge ‘resilient ecosystems’ and on or more of the identified leverage points; climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture, sustainable consumption patterns, sustainable natural resources management.

SeedNL

SeedNL enables powerful collaboration between relevant Dutch organisations and international partners to achieve urgent changes that contribute to SDG2 by 2030. SeedNL aims to strengthen the seed sector in developing countries, provide appropriate access to quality seeds for all farmers and increase productivity and farmer income.

Soil Fertility Coalition

A group of Dutch soil experts with different backgrounds - development organisations, private sector and research - has started a collaborative effort in view of generating more synergy, implementation power, and more impact on the ground. This impact is expected to be in the domain of improved farming and food systems resilience.

NEADAP Dairy

NEADAP is a partnership of Agriterra, SNV, Solidaridad and Wageningen UR and a growing number of new partners. The goal is promoting dairy development with a focus on East-Africa. The collective approach is based on the position paper 'Dairy for nutrition, employment and sustainability'.

Youth and Sustainable Agriculture

To effectively realise a transition towards sustainable food systems with solid opportunities for Youth, there is a need for connections with the right actors, for the development of viable business models and increased attention for youth in research, policy and educational curricula. To realise this, Youth should be in the center of the discussion and action.
