CHARLES MICHEL

During our World Food Day event Charles Michel refreshes our senses by taking us on a journey that will open our eyes to the root causes and future of (un)healthy and sustainable food choices.

Charles Michel is a Colombian-French Food Educator and Activist, experienced designer and community catalyst, with a background in experimental psychology, human-centered design, and culinary arts. Based at Oxford University between 2013 and 2016, he published over a dozen papers in scientific journals on crossmodal perception.

He is a public speaker and advisor on topics such as the future of food, and sensory aesthetics. At the intersection of science, art, community and entrepreneurship, Charles aims to inspire solutions for important challenges in the human/food/environment relationship.
