The Future of Food Premiere
The World Food Day Show will offer an inspiring programme in which attention is paid to the different visions of a better, food-secure future. Amongst the highlights during the evening will be the national premiere of the film The Future of Food (2022).

During this event the diverse ways in which local food systems can provide solutions will be explored. Should we continue to produce food locally and on a small scale, or on a large scale? Back to pure nature or embrace technology?
The World Food Day Show offers an inspiring programme in which attention is paid to the different visions of a better, food-secure future. The event will include the national premiere of The Future of Food (2022). This will be followed by an international discussion with the films producers, Madelon Meijer, policy advisor on agriculture and food at Oxfam Novib, Ogen Rwot Denish from Hold the Child Organisation (HCO). Member of Parliament Derk Boswijk (agricultural spokesperson for the CDA) will also be present and will discuss the role of the Netherlands when it comes to developing sustainable food systems worldwide.
