In the frame of the ‘Transforming Agricultural Innovation for People, Nature and Climate’ campaign, co-chaired by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, this webinar series serves to explore the evidence available on how agricultural innovation systems can be transformed under climate change. With this, the series sets a path for transformation in agricultural innovation systems in the lead up to #COP26.

About ‘Transforming Agricultural Innovation for People, Nature and Climate’

‘Transforming Agricultural Innovation for People, Nature and Climate’ is a global campaign that calls for half of all public investment in agricultural research to focus on innovations that provide new solutions across our food systems to meet the UN Global Goals. The campaign is co-chaired by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture & Food Security (CCAFS), and is driven by voluntary pledges from partner organizations and climate champions to:  

• Open up new opportunities to increase investment in innovation
• Showcase business models and public-private partnerships that deliver climate resilient and nature-positive outcomes
• Share knowledge of—and building consensus around—the evidence on innovations that can be delivered on a large scale
• Create synergies among national and international partners
